During Advent, opportunities for works of charity and love abound; calling out Christians to give a sack of food for a needy family, money dropped in a Salvation Army Kettle, fill a Samaritans’ Purse shoebox, and buy a toy for Toys-for-Tots are all acts of love for strangers. Do it! Give love and it comes back to you tenfold.
Love consists in this; not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
