Recently I needed to sign up for several websites for testing, but I didn’t want to use my real email because that usually leads to a lot of spam later.

So I started looking into temporary email services (also called disposable email or temp mail). I ended up testing quite a few tools to see which ones actually work well.

I mainly checked a few things:

●how fast emails arrive

●whether websites block the email domains

●how clean the interface is

●whether there are too many ads

Some popular ones like Temp-Mail, Guerrilla Mail, and 10MinuteMail work pretty well, but the experience can vary depending on the site you're signing up for.

I also put together a simple list of the temporary email services I tested and some notes about them.

If anyone else is looking for disposable email tools, you can check the list here:

Curious to know what temp mail services other people are using these days.
